On Friday, the European Commission updated its guidance in light of the catastrophic impact that the Covid-19 virus is having on travel and Tourism.
The EC is encouraging customers to accept vouchers or credit notes instead of refunds for cancelled holidays (with an option to ask for a full refund at a later stage)
This contrasts with the way Booking.com has been handling the situation especially when informing their customers that they should tackle their refund directly with the hotel
