Today, some €150 million left the coffers of hospitality leader AccorHotels to acquire the six-year-old luxury home rental platform onefinestay.com

Onefinestay CEO and co-founder Greg Marsh writes in an official post that AccorHotels “will be investing heavily in onefinestay’s growth and expansion. Our plan is to launch onefiestay in more than 40 new markets over the next five years. onefinestay will become a globally recognised byword for exceptional experiences, and extraordinary service.”

AccorHotels does not seem that it wants to integrate onefinestay into any of its existing businesses or brands. Marsh will remain at the helm and operate onefinestay “as an independent business”

Today onefinestay operates a portfolio of over 2,500 properties in strategic locations such as London, New York, Paris, Los Angeles and Rome.

Travelmole.com reports that AccorHotels will be investing over €60 million to fuel the company’s expansion into key markets.
