German MEP Julia Reda tabled a proposal in front of the European Parliament which could make the online sharing of travel photos and video footage illegal.

Are we nuts?

On the 9th of July 2015, the Parliament representing 27 European Countries will be asked to restrict us from taking and using images of permanently located sights. This would mean that we will no longer share a selfie with the Tour Eiffel or the Colosseum in the Background. We will be stopped from tweeting a pic of the London Bridge or sunset over Brandenburg Gate.

Are we serious? Is Reda trying to kill the selfie and take us back to postcard era?
