One of the most intriguing verticals pertaining to the vacation rentals business is that of Boat Holidays. Imagine booking a villa or farmhouse on a sun-kissed island in the Mediterranean, and hopping around on a 40ft sailing boat. Simply idyllic, right?
Thanks to a new startup Zizoo.com, it has now become somewhat easy. Through a typical airbnb-styled website, Zizoo promises to “revolutionise sailing holidays by totally digitalising the booking process”, offering access to more than 6000 boat rentals in 30 countries worldwide.
Destinations include Croatia, Spain, Greece, France, Italy and Turkey, as well Sweden, Norway, Channel Islands and even some inland locations.
With it’s recent launch in the UK, Zizoo has consolidated itself as the largest platform for boat bookings in the world. The aim is to add a further 4,000 boats by the end of the year, increasing to 60,000 by 2019.
